Daffodil Moot Court Society (DMCS) proudly concluded the two-day-long DIU Inter-Batch Moot Court Competition 2025.
The competition began on May 23, 2025, where 16 teams engaged in two intense preliminary rounds across eight courtrooms. After a series of compelling arguments and strategic rebuttals, four outstanding teams secured their place in the semi-finals. After ending semi-final, two teams have set a place for battle in the final rounds.
The final round of the competition was adjudicated by Sidratul Muntaha Trina, Lecturer, Chittagong Independent University; Barrister Shyikh Mahdi, Prosecutor, International Crimes Tribunal & Advocate, Supreme Court, and Mahfuzur Rahman, Senior Judicial Magistrate, Dhaka.
The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Honourable Vice Chancellor, DIU, Professor Dr. Liza Sharmin, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Sidratul Muntaha Trina, Guest of Honour & Final Round Adjudicator, Barrister Shyikh Mahdi, Prosecutor, International Crimes Tribunal & Advocate, Supreme Court, Mahfuzur Rahman, Senior Judicial Magistrate, Dhaka also highlighted the event by their valuable insights.
At the end of an intense showdown, Team T06 from Batch 45 was crowned as Champion, and Team T03 from Batch 49 achieved the Runners-up position.
